Buenos a mis amigos!
Another great day for the books! Are you surprised? I sure hope not :-) This morning started out with our usual outstanding breakfast. But this time, we were all set to go in our "concert black" for our last day of performing in Costa Rica. After finishing breakfast, we loaded up the bus and left for Boston Colegio Universitario!
Boston Colegio Universitario is one of San Jose's community colleges that trains students for the work forces. It was a real pleasure to sing for these students and they really appreciated it. We also got to sing in a big staircase, where the acoustics were great! After our performance, some students from the college presented projects to us about the culture of Costa Rica. The students shared projects about cuisine, "Costa Rican-isms," geography, popular attractions and many other interesting things! Take a look at some of the pictures from our time there...

After the presentations at Boston Colegio Universitario, we all went our separate way and got lunch. Following lunch, we prepared ourselves for our fifth and final performance of the trip at Universidad Veritas. Veritas has a wonderful program where students from the United States can be a part of an exchange program to study in Costa Rica. Andres, our friend from Veritas, gave us a tour of the campus and we were able to see all the incredible things the university has to offer. Along the tour, we saw our poster for the concert!

The concert was simply beautiful and we had a wonderful audience. We were able to perform in Universidad Veritas's auditorium that was built in 2006. It was a really great place to perform, with great acoustics and a beautiful design. It was truly a great way to finish up our performances in Costa Rica. Sister Mary Ann from St. Rose recorded the concert, so you should look forward to hearing the recording some time soon after we get back!
Following the concert, the university provided us with a pizza party. Then the fun began...we took a big group Latin dance lesson! Everyone had a really great time! There was so much energy, music, and movement. It was hard to leave the dance floor without getting dragged back out!
Check out the pictures. They really do say it all....
When we were all tired out, we loaded up the bus and went back to the hotel to crash. Tomorrow brings a full day of the beach, sun, and fun times! I'm sure there will be some great pictures to enjoy. Until next time....
Hasta Luego!
